Diane Turpin Designs is my online presence for all the artsy endeavors I regularly engage in! Hi, I’m Diane. I’m the wife of a professional Boy Scout, mother of an aspiring music teacher and lover of all things crafty.

My saga starts many years ago when my mom introduced me to folk art painting. After several years doing craft shows around the southeastern US, I decided to embark on a graphic arts career. My path, as always, was not a direct one. I took some classes at the University of Tennessee while working for a wholesale business card printer. After the Boy Scouts moved us to Arkansas, I worked for a commercial printer. Here I met Adobe and the budding software babies – Photoshop and Illustrator. It was love at first sight.

Fast forward to a few years ago. My mom opens a small publishing company and asks me to be a cover designer for her. Of course, I said yes because I’m an awesome daughter. But also because it gives me a creative outlet for my Adobe addiction. Now, I also format and prepare her print books and ebooks for publication. And of course, these are services I offer to indie or self-publishing authors as well.

As this is not enough to completely fill my time, I have an Etsy store where I sell digital artwork for Bible journalers. You’ll also find fabric crafts there as well. From time to time, you’ll also find a watercolor painting slipped in for fun.
